Improving mental health and wellbeing in underserved populations through collaborative research
The Three Schools Mental Health Programme brought together the NIHR Schools for Primary Care Research, Public Health Research and Social Care Research to improve mental health research involving underserved populations.
More than 80 awards were funded, covering a wide range of methodological and participatory approaches and diverse populations.
The programme supported shared learning, capacity building and cross-disciplinary collaboration through a monthly online seminar series, open to award holders, their teams and others interested in the research.
