Breaking Barriers: Expanding MSK Care Through Community-Driven Research

Access to musculoskeletal (MSK) care is often limited for individuals facing deprivation, but the Way into MSK project is working to change that. With funding from the NIHR School for Primary Care Research, a clinical research physiotherapist has been able to dedicate 50% of their time to expanding MSK services beyond traditional clinical settings. By collaborating with food banks, homeless charities, and community organisations, the project bridges the gap between underserved populations and healthcare services.
