The SPCR plays a pivotal role in nurturing early-stage primary care research that is crucial in the journey towards significant clinical impact. These nascent ideas often require an initial push to gather preliminary data, which then paves the way to unlock larger pots of funding from other sources.
Teams at the University of Oxford have repeatedly used SPCR support to secure significant resources for large-scale studies that can change clinical practice and enhance the research ecosystem.
