Webinar: Mental Health Social Care Incubator

The Mental Health Social Care Incubator is hosting a webinar on Monday 17th March 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with two presentations:

Martin Webber and Karen Bulsara from the University of York will present the CARERS Trial, a feasibility trial of a skills-enhancing programme for carers of people with complex emotional needs and chronic emotion dysregulation.  They will discuss the trials of social interventions to support carers are possible to conduct in the NHS to generate high-quality evidence, carers are largely invisible within NHS mental health services and it is possible to recruit carer-service user dyads and randomise them to intervention or control groups

Plus, Katy Cleece from Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust along with Parisa Quaynor will be presenting on “Co-production in research engagement”.  They will discuss transferring power to communities, coproducing knowledge and community lead research.
