About the Speaker:  This masterclass is led by Marta Wanat and Aleksandra Borek from the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford. 

Marta and Aleksandra are social scientists with backgrounds in psychology and behavioural science and over 10 years of experience in qualitative research. They work at the interface between social science and medicine in primary care settings. Marta has applied longitudinal qualitative design to study adjustment to illness in the context of cancer and chronic conditions. Aleksandra has used longitudinal qualitative methods to explore health professionals’ experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic and managing acute infections. They teach qualitative research methods, including longitudinal design, to postgraduate students and health professionals.
