Background: 

This session will showcase new and creative approaches to involving public and communities in primary care research.  Through a series of video interviews, led by the Primary Care Research Centre at the University of Southampton,  attendees will gain an insight into the benefit of adapting approaches to involvement for different communities and the challenges and impact doing so across research projects. 

 What does the session involve: 

  • Learn why different approaches to public involvement are needed
  • Hear practical examples of how the Primary Care Research Centre have been adapting their involvement processes to facilitate wider and more diverse involvement in research projects
  • Q&A with the speakers
