The NIHR Sex and Gender in Research Policy is the next step in embedding research inclusion as a funding condition. By the end of 2025, researchers applying for NIHR funding must account for sex and gender in their studies.
This policy supports the Women's Health Strategy for England and aligns the UK with best practices through the MESSAGE Project. It aims to drive cultural change in how research is designed, conducted, and reported.
Join the Virtual Event to hear from experts on why sex and gender inclusion matters in health and social care research.
